Infoeste DevFest Course

A DevFest course at Infoeste covering Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, folder structure, hooks, and a hands-on e-commerce component.

During Infoeste, as part of the DevFest program, I joined a hands-on course designed for people who wanted to understand how a modern application starts taking shape from both backend and frontend perspectives.

The backend portion began with Spring Boot. We configured the environment, created the first application layers, and used the project as a way to talk about fundamentals that are easy to skip: organization, naming, clarity, and the discipline of keeping early code understandable.

After that, we moved to React and TypeScript. The focus was not only on making something appear on screen, but on showing how folder structure, hooks, component boundaries, and naming decisions affect the way a project grows.

The final exercise was a component inside an e-commerce-style application. It was intentionally built as something participants could keep improving after the course, instead of being just a closed demo.
